Spirit-filled: “My entire being is filled with the energy of Spirit.”
The time is NOW. We only have right now. Never in the history of my life have I been more aware of this concept. A global pandemic has presented countless lessons to us about being grateful, being intentional, and being present to this very moment. I keep practicing in small ways: follow-though on small tasks that will keep me organized and also sane, stating affirmations about my health and prosperity in a very unpredictable time in our humanity, and also observing small blessings in nature like a cardinal on the wire, colorful rocks in the river’s current or the wind blowing through the cypress trees with a clear blue sky backdrop. Signs of Spirit are everywhere, and we can choose to treasure this forced lull in our busyness to really see them.
These words from Eckhart Tolle ring true for me today:
Most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now. And that’s a revelation for some people: to realize that your life is only ever now.
